Rosy Epperson Lunsford, 62, of Monroe, passed away February 29, 2012.  Born August 14, 1949, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Epperson, Sr. and Mary Helen Downey Epperson Morris.  Mrs. Lunsford was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center, after 33 years of service, and received her Bachelors of Science and Masters Degree from Averett University.  She was a member of Unity of the Seven Hills and was a licensed Unity Teacher.  Survivors also include a daughter, Dana L. Primm and husband Rudy; a son Adam Lunsford (Laura), both of Madison Heights; two brothers, Robert H. Epperson, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, of Village Mills, TX, and Lonnie Morris III and wife Rebecca, of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Jessica and Tristan Lunsford, and Sara and Grace Primm; and other relatives and friends.  The family will receive friends Sunday March 4, 2012, from 2-3:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Unity of the Seven Hills, 3522 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
