John Garland Dean, 59, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.  Born August 26, 1948 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late James W. and Sybil Moore Dean.  He was the owner of the Silver Fish in Barefoot Landing.  John is survived by one brother, James Stanley Dean (Lois); one sister, Dorothy Dean-Moseley (Chuck), both of Lynchburg; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Danny Chamblee and the Rev. Shane Robertson will officiate.  Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, P. O.
