Theodore (Ted) Alvin Bergman, Jr., 51, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, June 24, 2000 in the Yukon Territory, Canada, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was the son of the late Theodore Alvin Bergman, Sr. and Mana F. Bergman of Westminster Canterbury.  He was a graduate of E. C. Glass High School, Louisburg College, and the University of Richmond.  He is survived by his wife, Cynthia E. Bergman and two children, Charles David Bergman and Rachel V. Bergman of Fredericksburg; a brother, Richard Bergman of Sterling.  On Monday, July 10, 2000 at noon, a memorial service will be held at Peakland Baptist Church, 4018 Peakland Place in Lynchburg.  Donations may be made to the Bergman Memorial Fund, Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6170 Plank Road, Fredricksburg, VA 22407.  Diuguid Wiggington Chapel, 811 Wiggington Road is in charge of the arrangements.
