James Paris McKenry, 43, of Carson City, Nev., and formerly of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992 in Carson City.  He was married to Shelly McKenry.  He was the son of Natalie Paris McKenry of Lynchburg and the late Rev. John A. McKenry, Jr.  He was a graduate of E. C. Glass High School and the University of San Francisco and received his MBA from Harvard University.  He was the president of Rite of Passage, Inc.  In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Bennett of Newport News and Jessica Temple of Carson City; two sisters, Natalie M. Callis of Johnsonburg, NJ, and Elizabeth Mayhew of Lynchburg; and one brother, the Rev. John A. McKenry, III of Denver, CO.  Walton Funeral Home, Carson Cithy, is in charge of arrangements.  Those wishing to make memorials, please consider the American Heart Association.
