Beacon of Hope
You may have heard about Beacon of Hope, a non-profit that Rosel Schewel, who just recently died, and others founded in 2011 to help Lynchburg City School (LCS) high school students realize the dream of continuing their education beyond high school at either a technical school or a college.
The Beacon of Hope “Future Centers” at both LCS high schools now help students with post-secondary school applications and with the search for financial aid. These centers are 100% funded through community support. Visit http://beaconofhopelynchburg.org/ to learn more.
Please consider helping a Glass/Heritage student with a chance to go to college by donating to Lynchburg Beacon of Hope.
If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to the Beacon of Hope, make your check payable to:
Lynchburg Beacon of Hope
P. O. Box 1261

Add "Glass 1967 50th Reunion" on the memo line of your check.
Thank you for your consideration in helping a Glass or Heritage high school senior with college tuition.
